These terms cover the WildEcho app. Draft reviewed for completeness; the site owner should confirm before relying on it.

1. Acceptance

By using WildEcho you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What WildEcho is — and isn't

WildEcho provides AI-assisted wildlife identification for education and enjoyment. Results are estimates and may be wrong. Do not rely on WildEcho for any safety-critical decision — including identifying venomous, dangerous, or protected species, foraging, or medical/veterinary judgments. Always verify with a qualified expert or official source.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 and able to form a binding contract.

4. Subscriptions & purchases

  • WildEcho offers optional paid plans (Explorer and Pro) sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Prices are shown in-app before purchase.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your store account settings.
  • Payment is charged at confirmation; renewals charge at the then-current price for the selected period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their policies; we generally cannot issue store refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping, abuse of the identification endpoint, attempts to extract credentials or exceed rate limits, reverse engineering except as permitted by law, or uploading unlawful content.

6. Your content

You retain rights to photos and text you submit. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the identification result. Don't submit content you don't have the right to submit.

7. Intellectual property

WildEcho, its design, and content are owned by Blue Harbour Solutions and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUE HARBOUR SOLUTIONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON IDENTIFICATION RESULTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the app, and may suspend access for violations. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Nova Scotia will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections in your place of residence.
